The fine print, in plain words

Cookie Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

The short version

  • The site sets no cookies.
  • It keeps two small things in your browser's own storage so the site can work. Neither one tracks you.
  • Nothing here measures your visit, shows you ads, or loads anything from another company. That includes the video on the home page.

What this page covers

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser. Browsers also have a similar kind of storage that works the same way for our purposes, and the rules treat the two alike. This page lists everything the public pages of this site keep in your browser, whichever kind it is.

What the site keeps in your browser

NameWhat it is forHow longKind
gw-consentRemembers your privacy choice, so you are not asked on every page.12 monthsNeeded
gw-setupKeeps your place in the guided setup: the step you are on, the boxes you ticked, your name, your private connection address, your download link, and, for a moment after you pay, the reference of your checkout.Until you close the tabNeeded
gw-setupThe same, kept so you can come back later without opening your setup link again.Up to 12 months, or until you turn it offOnly if you choose "Remember this device"

All of these stay in your own browser. They are not sent to us or to anyone else.

Other companies

The public pages of this site load nothing from other companies: no analytics, no advertising, no social media buttons, and no embedded players. The typefaces and the video on the home page are served from the site itself, and playing the video records nothing about you. Your copy page keeps nothing in your browser; it asks our server for your copy each time you open it.

When you press Buy you leave this site for a checkout page run by Stripe. That page is Stripe's, and what it keeps in your browser is covered by Stripe's own cookie policy.

Your book's own pages are a separate matter. They live in your Claude account, not on this site, and the Privacy Policy explains what they load.

Your choices

Open at any time to turn "Remember this device" on or off. Turning it off removes what was remembered straight away. You can also clear this site's stored data in your browser's settings. The site will still work, and the setup will simply ask you to open your setup link again.

Because the site does not track you or sell information, there is nothing extra for a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off.

Changes

If the site ever starts keeping something new in your browser, it will be added to the list above first, and anything not needed for the site to work will stay off unless you turn it on.
